The year 2019 will forever be etched in the memory of Aluseta Ashikaeli Uroki, famously known as “Madam Carrot of Arusha.”

As an employee of one of the companies in Arusha, Aluseta Ashikaeli Uroki was a woman with dreams and high aspirations in her career. However, in an unexpected turn of events, the world received news of an outbreak of the coronavirus, an outbreak for which the global healthcare sector had no prior experience handling.

This state of uncertainty and fear led to many businesses worldwide coming to a halt, with some scaling down their operations. Unfortunately, the same fate befell the company where Aluseta worked, and the decisions made by the company’s management included staff reductions.
